DUO SERENO
Duo Sereno 2025 was formed in response to a joint invitation, when it became clear to us during a project that we shared similar musical ideas. From our first collaboration, we found it easy and inspiring to work together; we complement each other in both sound and personality. It was this harmony that made us want to continue working together and form the duo.
We both have many years of performing experience and have performed regularly in various chamber music formations. In addition to our active concert life, we also work as teachers, so conscious musical thinking and quality sound is an integral part of our daily work.
Our repertoire is extremely versatile: from one-piece music for ceremonial occasions to several hours of background music, from classical works to light music arrangements.
Our aim is to provide a sophisticated, high quality musical experience at every event that is sensitive to the occasion, enhances the atmosphere and creates a lasting ambience.

The Duo Sereno The name is a conscious choice: “sereno” is an Italian word meaning serenity, calmness, and a clear, balanced atmosphere. Through our music, we aim to create precisely this kind of ambiance — one that is at once elevated and intimate, elegant yet natural.
The tone of the flute and the guitar is soft and nuanced on its own, and together they form a particularly harmonious and transparent sound. For us, “sereno” signifies not only tranquility, but also inner stability and refinement — the sense of balance that forms the foundation of our musical partnership.
